Joe Payne Memorial Thanksgiving Luncheon 20 Oct 2018 The second annual Reverend Joe Payne Memorial Thanksgiving Luncheon has been scheduled for Saturday, October 20, 2018, in the Wheet Fellowship Hall of the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene. There will be a brief program beginning at 11amCT with the lunch immediately following. The luncheon was started to honor the memory of Reverend Joe Payne of Columbia. He served on the Adair County School Board, board of the Lake Cumberland Area Development District, board of the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce, and was the minister of Eunice Church of God. "We are pleased with the response to the event last year," said Pamela Hoots, one of the executive committee members planning the event. The public is invited to attend and bring a covered dish for the potluck meal. If you would like to contribute, please contact Reverend Billy Payne or Sharon Payne.
