Columbia-Adair County Fire to receive Crusade Award By Donald Hare, Program Director The Columbia-Adair County Fire Department has been notified that it has received the 2018 Jim Walton Crusade Award for Fire Departments raising 50,000-99,999. The distinguished award is given out to 1 department in each class that has had the largest increase over previous years. The only other time the department won was in 1986 with a 33% increase over 1985 total. Thanks to everyone in Adair County and there charitable giving we had a 103% increase over 2017.
