Vernon Dwayne Lee, 62, Dunnville, KY (1955-2018) Vernon was the owner/operator of Liberty Hardware Company and Sawmill. Whether it was hunting, fishing or gardening, Vernon loved being outdoors. Vernon Dwayne Lee of Dunnville, Kentucky passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 20, 2018. He was 62 years old. Funeral services are 2pmET Sunday, September 23, 2018 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Brother Sherman Floyd officiating. Vernon will be laid to rest at Thomas Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 6pmET until 9pmET at the funeral home. Born October 14, 1955 in Casey County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Tholet and Jewell Harrison Lee. Vernon was the owner/operator of Liberty Hardware Company and Sawmill. Whether it was hunting, fishing or gardening, Vernon loved being outdoors. Survivors include his beloved wife, Jewell Wilson Lee, whom he married December 28, 1974; one son, Shaun (Sebrina) Lee; one daughter, Shannon Lee all of Dunnville; two grandchildren, Austin Lee and Amy Lee; three brothers, Cecil Lee of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lowell Lee of Liberty, Kentucky, and Leland Lee of Columbia, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Vernon was preceded in death by one brother, Greg Lee. Vernon's pallbearers are: Paul Luttrell, Bruiser Blair, Mike Lee, Earl Isaacs, Cecil Roy, and Chris Patten. Those serving as honorary pallbearers are: Austin Lee, Amy Lee, and Lloyd Wilson.
