David Lee Spears, 62, Casey County, KY (1955-2018)

David Lee Spears, age 62, passed away on Sunday September 16, 2018 at the U.K. Chandler Medical Center.

Visitation will be held 4-7pmCT/5-8pmET Friday September 21st, 2018 Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, Liberty, KY. Cremation Rites were honored. A private burial will be held at a later date.



He was born in Somerset, KY on December 2nd, 1955, a son of the late Homer Lee Spears and Mary Devonda Hodge Spears.

David was a Retired Manager for McDonald's.

Survivors include
  • One Son: Chris (Trisha) Cundiff of Liberty

  • Four Grandchildren: Alley Cundiff and (Stanley), Shawn and (Teela) Cundiff, Emilee Spears and Ellah Cundiff

  • One Great Grandchild: Jaida Cundiff

  • One Brother: Danny Ray (Carol) Spears of Liberty

  • One Sister: Donna Sue (Mike) Malone of Danville
Preceding him in death besides his parents was a son, Troy Brandon Spears.

Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
