He was a native of Danville, KY, and a resident of Liberty, KY, at the time of his death in Liberty. He was the son of the late Harlis C. Grider & Eileen Passmore Sandusky. He leaves three direct living descendants, including one of Columbia, KY, and two of Danville. His final resting place will be in Casey County Memorial Gardens.

Billy James Grider, 58, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at his residence.

There will be no services. A private burial will be held at Casey County Memorial Gardens.

Born on September 7, 1960, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, he was a son of the late Harlis C. Grider & Eileen Passmore Sandusky. He died Sunday, September 9, 2018, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 58 years, two days.

He is survived by:
  • Two daughters - Billie Jo (David) Brown of Columbia, KY; and Chasity (Aaron) Etherington of Danville, KY

  • A son - Billy James Grider, Jr. (Michelle Patterson) of Danville, KY

  • A sister - Janice (Ralph) Grider Griswold of College Station, TX; and a brother, Mike (Leslie) Sandusky of Liberty, KY
