Clayton Folden, 67, of Columbia, KY, died Thursday, August 30, 2018, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

The family has chosen cremation. A memorial meal will be served Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 5pmCT/6pmET, at the Mintonville Masonic Lodge, in Mintonville, Casey County, KY followed by a memorial service at 6pmCT/7pmET. Inurnment will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2pmCT/3pmET in Caney Fort Cemetery in Etoile, Barren County, KY.

He was born May 10, 1951, in Barren County, KY. He was the son of the late Clayton Elvis & Hallie Mae Houchens Folden. He died Thursday, August 30, 2018, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 67 years, three months, and 20 days.

He was a retired carpenter and a member of Mintonville Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include:

  • One son - John Folden and his wife Brandi of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter - Jennifer Strode and her husband Chris of Austin-Tracy. KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • and two great-grandchildren
The family has chosen cremation and no visitation or funeral service will be held.
