He was a native of Jamestown, KY and a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of his death. He was a member of a respected Russell County, KY, family, the son of the late Thelma (Brown) & Hollis Coffey. His wife Wilma Coffey, survives. He leaves two direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in Russell Springs, KY.

Haven (Buck) Coffey, 70 of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Monday August 27, 2018, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral Services will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, in Jamestown, KY on Saturday September 1, 2018, at 11amCT, with Bro. Randy Brown and Bro. Charles Edwards officiating. Friends may visit on Friday, August 31, 2018, after 5pmCT. at the funeral home. Burial in the Russell County Memorial Gardens, in Russell Springs, KY.

He was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on April 5, 1948. He was a son of the late Thelma (Brown) & Hollis Coffey. He died Monday, August 27, 2018, in Russells Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 70 years, four months, and 23 days.

He is survived by:
  • His wife - Wilma (Coffey) Coffey of Russell Springs, KY

  • His daughter - Holly wife of Casey Von Gruenigen, of Jamestown, KY

  • Two sisters - Ada, wife of Jim England, of Columbus, IN; and Ruth, wife of Gary Lane, of Brodhead, KY

  • His granddaughter - Ella Kate Von Gruenigen, of Jamestown, KY

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
Haven (Buck) was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother David Leon Coffey.

Family ask for memorial donations to go to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or The Gideons and can be made at the funeral home.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
