Campbellsville High School students attend Kentucky State Fair By Calen McKinney Campbellsville High School students visited the Kentucky State Fair Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018. Art teacher Jo Ann Harris, exceptional child educator Juanita Young, community based work transition program coordinator Wendy Sabo and family and consumer science teacher Deanna Campbell took about 40 students to the fair to see the exhibits. Students viewed artwork on display and saw cooking competitions. They also toured the Pride of the Counties exhibits to learn about tourism and possible career opportunities. Students also attended various shows and exhibits, such as Miller's border collies, AgLand, Pogo stunts, championship horse competitors, a comedy magician and musical performances, and sampled many unusual foods.
