He was born and raised in the faith of Jesus Christ. He was a graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in finance. He was a gifted athlete especially in golfing and snow skiing. He loved UofL sports and going to both UofL and UK football games with his dad. He was the the son of Steve Dorris & Judith Shreve Dorris.

Stephen Dorris, II, 32, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, died Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Louisville.

The funeral services will be at 3pmCT/4pmET, Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Jeff Fugate and Bro. Flynn Rodgers. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, 200 Block W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 12pmNoon-3pmCT/1pm-4pmET, Thursday, August 29, 2018, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Corbitt Dorris, Bobby Hayes, Nathan Shreve, Ricky Shreve, Jody Swearingen, and Lee Swearingen.

Honorary Pallbearers: Troy Davis, Brent Dorris, Traci Justice, Maribeth Dorris, Roy Seaborne, Phillip Dorris, David Shreve, Tara Gillentine, Shelby Shreve, Robert Hudson, and Terri Ann Swearningen.

Stephen Dorris, II, was the son of Steve Dorris & Judith Shreve Dorris. He was born October 6, 1985, in Taylor County, KY. He died Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 32 years, 10 months, and 20 days.

He was born and raised in the faith of Jesus Christ.

Stephen was a graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in finance. Stephen was a gifted athlete especially in golfing and snow skiing. He loved Uof L sports and going to both UofL and UK football games with his Dad.

He is survived by:
  • His mother - Judith Shreve Dorris of Campbellsville, KY

  • His father and step-mother - Steve and Carolyn Dorris of Nicholasville, KY

  • His paternal grandmother - Harriet Dorris of Springfield, TN

  • Aunts and uncles - Kay and Robert Hudson of Louisville, KY; David and Glenda Shreve and Ricky Shreve of Campbellsville, KY; Pam and Jody of Swearingen; and Denise Dorris of Springfield, TN; Cissy and Al Midgett of Lebanon, TN

  • Several cousins

  • And many other relatives and friends
