92nd Annual Homecoming at Branstetter Park - Sun 26 Aug 2018

The 92 Annual Homecoming starts at 10amCT, this morning, Sunday, August 26, at Branstetter Park, Intersection of KY 90/Summer Shade Road, and KY 163/Tompkinsville Road, one mile east of the central business district in Summer Shade, KY. Admission is free.

The schedule for today is as follows:


  • At 10amCT, the Welcome Service includes a welcome by Harold Stilts, Memorial by Terry Hurt, the singing of "The Last Mile of the Way," by the congregation, a devotional by Rev. Dennis Crump, pastor of Beaumont United Methodist Church, and message by Shane Dodson.
  • At 12pmNoonCT, there will be a potluck lunch. Attendees are encouraged to bring a covered dish and enjoy the fellowship.
  • At 1pmCT, Singing with the Gospel Sounds and the area churches who accept the invitation to join together and have a day of community church services.
