Health offices in Pinewood Center hold open house 22 Aug 2018 First Choice Immediate Care and the adjacent Taylor Regional Hospital's Specialty Physicians and Diagnostic Center, offer an early to late, seven day a week, option which allows primary care in extended hours without the need for an emergency room. One of them, First Choice, the newest Columbia location which celebrated its open house in Columbia at the Pinewood Shopping Center August 22, 2018, offers extended hours over seven days each week. Speaking with him and his manager after the event, I couldn't help but remember the first medical difference-maker to change the health care industry here, the late Dr. Phil Aaron. He opened his office from early morning until midnight seven days a week every day of the week -- seven days a week. First Choice is also an early to late, seven day a week, doctor's office which allows the option of primary care in extended hours without having to go the emergency room route.
