Paz-Holley Project -- Praise for each step given to God

Messages from Sarah Dean, Maggie Coleman, Marian Grant, Troy Grider and Rick and Sandy Wilson, compiled by Linda Waggener

Sarah Dean writes:
“This project has had an overwhelming impact on everyone involved. Our community has gone above and beyond to help this family through donations and prayer. It’s amazing to watch God take what seemed like a broken, hopeless situation and use it to show his love and faithfulness. He is faithful!“ - Sarah Dean

Troy Grider writes:
"I am so excited of what God has brought together. It has been Divine Inspiration even at those early stages of compassion, thoughts, and prayers about what could be done to help this family in their suffering and tremendous need.

"I have said this several times over the last several months about this goal. That, when God brings people together and is orchestrating the whole thing, you can know that He will bring it to pass. I am so thankful for the many different ones in our community that have stepped forward. This has been truly a community effort from not only churches, but individuals, teachers, businesses, and more.

"I cannot count the ones who have just come up to me and handed me $5 or $10 and said just put it toward the house for the kids. Many of these I know probably didn't have the extra to give but they did anyway. We give the credit to God most of all, and pray His many blessings on this family and everyone who has contributed in whatever way financially, prayers and support." - Troy Grider

Maggie Coleman writes:
"My Bible study today had a good quote that I think reflects the unity our community has experienced in this project. It is from the prayer of Jesus as he prepares to ascend into heaven: John 17: 22-23, 'I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one - I in them and you in me - so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.' Our community's unity behind this project is a testimony to the world of the power of God's love for all of us." - Maggie Coleman

Marian Grant writes:
"It is amazing to me how this little community is so loving and so giving. It reminds me of the verse, "Ask and it will be given." All we have to do ask God and he will provide, seek and ye shall find, and in this, that is so true. These people always find a way. This was a huge goal that we hoped and prayed to meet before Christmas and it is gonna be met soooo much sooner. Thank you God for answered prayers and allowing me to live in such a wonderful community." - Marian Grant

Rick and Sandy Wilson write:
"From the bottom of our hearts, we say thank you! Thank you to God for leading this project! Thank you for the giving, giving hearts from so many people, businesses and churches. We are humbled and blessed with the amazingly quick and loving response in investing in the lives of these ten children! Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus!" - Rick and Sandy Wilson
