She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She was a member of a highly regarded Green County, KY, family. She was the daughter of the late James A. Smith & Bessie L. Smith. Her husband of 67 years, Paul Clark, survives. she leaves 11 direct living descendants.

Thelma "Pinkie" Clark of Greensburg, KY, died at 12:53pmET, Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Blake Jessie and Bro. Todd Young. Burial will be in the Phillips Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Thelma "Pinkie" Clark of Greensburg, was the daughter of the late James A. Smith & Bessie L. Smith. She was born October 3, 1936 in Cumberland County, KY. She died Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 10 months, and six days. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Baptist Church.

Thelma was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to Paul Clark April 22, 1961.

Besides her husband, Paul Clark of Greensburg, KY, she is survived by:
  • Three daughters and one son - Connie Coin and husband, Tom, Terri Smolinski and husband, Joe and Milli Coverdale and husband, Andrew, all of Louisville, KY, and Mike Clark and wife, Lori of Jacksonville, FL

  • Seven grandchildren - Chris Coin and wife, Carrie, Savannah Coin, Will Coverdale, Chloe Coverdale, and Adam Sengkhamyong, all of Louisville, KY; and Erik Clark and Meghan Clark of Jacksonville, FL

  • One great-grandchild - Colton Coin of Louisville, KY

  • Four sisters - Margaret Larimore, Louise Larimore and husband, Robert; Bernice DeSpain and husband, Welby and Linda Thomas of Summersville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death one grandchild, Beau Coin and two brothers and four sisters: Wayne Smith, Howard Smith, Mary Elizabeth Smith, Mildred Jean Smith, Ovena White and Annetta Jeffries.
