George 'Butch' Coleman, 74, Casey County, KY (1944-2018)

He was born in the rural community of Yosemite in Casey County KY in 1944 to Ransom and Myrtle Spears Coleman. He worked in Maintance for AmTrack in the state of Delaware. His wife, Betty Thompson Coleman, survives. He leaves five direct living escendants.

George "Butch" Coleman age 74, of Yosemite, KY, passed away on Thursday August 2, 2018 at the Casey County Hospital in Liberty, KY.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET Monday, August 6th, 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY with Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in the Durham Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 10amCT/11amET Monday August 6, 2018 at the funeral home until time for the service to begin.

George "Butch" Coleman, was born in Yosemite, Casey County, KY, on June 11, 1944. He was a son of Ransom & Myrtle Spears Coleman. He passed away on Thursday August 2, 2018 n Liberty, Casey County, KY at the age of 74 years, one month, and 22 days. > Butch was formerly in Maintance for AmTrack in Delaware.

Survivors include
  • His wife - Betty Thompson Coleman

  • One daughter - Anna Louise Coleman of Mt. Vernon, KY

  • One son - George Gregory Coleman of Mt. Vernon, KY

  • Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren

  • Five Sisters - Viola Sallee of Middleburg, Pauline Wright of Liberty, Geraldine Woods of Lancaster, Sylvia Yates of Liberty and Nancy Coleman of Yosemite

  • One Brother - Paul Coleman of Liberty
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were two brothers - Coyle and Jim Coleman, and two sisters - Mae Raney and Shirley Rayborn.
