Two Glens Fork, KY men die as result of N Kentucky accident They were returning from a trip to visit relatives in Ohio when the accident occurred Sunday morning. Funeral arrangements and a complete obituary is expected Monday, July 30, 2018, when available from Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, KY Click on headline for complete story Courtesy Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home Robert Lee Gilbert 48, and his nephew Preston Allen Gilbert, 34, both of Glens Fork, KY, died at approximately 10amET, on Sunday, July 29, 2018 in a single vehicle accident in Boone County, KY. The accident happened near Union, KY on Interstate 75 in the Southbound Lane near Mile Marker #176. Robert Lee Gilbert, 48, the driver of the pick up truck was airlifted from the scene of the accident to the University of Cincinnati Trauma Center were he was pronounced dead on arrival. Preston Allen Gilbert, 34, the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene by the Boone County Coroners Office. They were returning to Adair County from a visit with relatives in Ohio when the accident happened. Robert Lee Gilbert's and Preston Allen Gilbert's survivors will be announced on Monday, July 30, 2018. Funeral arrangements for Robert Lee Gilbert and his nephew Preston Allen Gilbert are under the direction of Stotts-Phelps-Mcqueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY.
