A task force for a homeless shelter in Adair County, called together by J.O.Y. Ministries, met Monday evening, July 23, 2018 at the Columbia United Methodist Church.

Joining Maggie Coleman of J.O.Y. Ministries were Dan Thies, Terry Hadley, Harold Burton, Greg Caldwell, Mary Anne Loy, Pamela Hoots, Adam Capps, and Linda Waggener.



The goal of the group is to do the research and groundwork toward having a building to temporarily house individuals or families in emergency situations from Columbia and Adair County. Each person at the meeting took away items to research and follow up on.
