He was a native of Russell County, KY, the son of the late Gobel & Lydia Coffey Grant. His wife, Jo Bessie Grant, Columbia, KY, survives. He leaves a great family, numbering 44 direct living descendants and many kin. His final resting place will be at the Grant Cemetery near Glens Fork in Adair County, KY. Funeral service for Edwin Grant will be 1:30pmCT, Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Leon Simpson officiating. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Sunday, up until funeral time at 1:30pmCT. Interment will be in the Grant Cemetery in Adair County. Pallbearers: Michael Boggs, Ricky Joe Dykes, Tyler Grant, Brandon Stotts, Dalton Tucker, and Cody Grant.
