Stormy evening 20 Jul 2018, in New Columbia Greater Bliss

2018-07-20 - Jamestown Street at Russell Road, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
This photo, at 6:53pmCT, was taken when lights were off in a large part of Columbia, including the traffic signal at the intersection of Jamestown Street & Russell Road, reportedly due to a transformer outage. In the middle right of this frame, a stop light at Jamestown Street & Hurt Street was on, as were lights in the IGA Shopping Center, McDonald's the Fiesta Mexico shopping center, and beyond. Lights appeared to be off - except for solar powered porch, garage and lawn lamps - on Russell Road to Westlake Drive, in College Park, Miller Avenue, and Jamestown Street North almost to Hometown Liquors, where lights were on. - EW
