Stanley Coffman, 72, Louisville, KY/Casey County KY native (1946-2018)

He was retired from General Electric Company where he spent many years. Stanley loved to fish and watch westerns. He was a member of a respected Casey County, KY family. He was a native of Casey County, KY, the son of the late Albert "Buzz" & Lennie Hale Coffman. His wife of over 48 years, Janice, survives. He leaves 15 direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in St. Bernard Catholic Church Cemetery, Clementsville, Casey County, KY

Stanley Coffman, 72 of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

The Funeral Mass will be held 10amCT/11amET, on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5075 KY 551, Clementsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET, Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with prayer services at 6pmCT/7pmET. Stanley's pallbearers will be William Robertson, Billy Robertson, David Lewis, Johnny Lewis, Bryan Clements and Jonathan Farris.

He was retired from General Electric Company where he spent many years. Stanley loved to fish and watch westerns. He is survived by his wife of over 48 years, Janice, whom he married on February 21, 1970, and by the following:
  • One son: Steve (Donna) Coffman of Louisville, KY

  • One brother: Davey (Ruth) Coffman of Liberty, KY

  • One sister: Nellie (Eugene) Lewis of Liberty, KY

  • Three grandchildren

  • Six great-grandchildren

  • And very special family members: Katie Devine, Billy Robertson, Amy Johnson, William Robertson and Laura Robertson
In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by two brothers, Garry and Maurice Coffman.
