ACSO arrests allegedly impaired Montgomery Ave pedestrian Individual faces public intoxication charge Note - A charge is merely an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a subsequent court of law. From The Adair County Sheriff's Office Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss reports that on Friday, June 29, 2018, at approximately 10:57amCT, Miriam Hoots, age 51, of Columbia, KY, was arrested on charges of Public Intoxication and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree Methamphetamines after she was observed walking on Montgomery Street while impaired.
