Gilbert E. (Gil) Blevins, Taylor County, KY (1943-2018) SEPTEMBER 29, 1943 - JUNE 26, 2018 (Age 74)  He professed faith in Christ and was a life-long member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Having done flooring since he was eighteen years old and being the owner of Blevins Tile Flooring, his attention to detail was appreciated by all who used his services. He was an enthusiastic UK fan, an avid golfer and a member of the Campbellsville Country Club since 1965. He was also a devoted husband, loving father and a caring pet owner. He was a member of an outstanding Taylor County, KY, family. He was the son of Nell Colvin Blevins, who survives & the late Edwin Blevins. His wife of 26 years, Laurel Livziey Blevins, survives. He leaves 18 total direct and step living descendants. He will laid to rest in the cemetery of Good Hope Baptist Church. Click on headline for complete obituary Gilbert E. He died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 74 years, eight months, and 28 days. He professed faith in Christ and was a life-long member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Having done flooring since he was eighteen years old and being the owner of Blevins Tile Flooring, his attention to detail was appreciated by all who used his services. He was an enthusiastic UK fan, an avid golfer and a member of the Campbellsville Country Club since 1965. He was also a devoted husband, loving father and a caring pet owner.
