Severe thunderstorm warning until 1pmCT for Central Adair Co

Columbia is in center of predicted path

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Central Adair County, with possible tornado activity. The warning is in effect until 1pmCT, Monday, June 25, 2018. Columbia is in the center of the predicted path.

Stormy Day, 25 Jun 2018 - Downed Tree blocks Tutt Street

Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss, center and members of the ACSO were directing traffic away from the site of this downed tree which was blocking Tutt Street, KY 2287, at approximately 12:47pmCT, today, June 25, 2018. Utility repairmen were on the scene, as well. The Kentucky Highway Department was en route to take over management of the scene and to remove debris at the time of this posting.
