CES students participate in Field Day events

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently competed in the annual Field Day games.

Students participated in class relays, 50-yard dash, ball throw, basketball shoot, bean bag toss, Frisbee throw, hula hoop, long jump, soccer kick, ring toss and tug-of-war. Winners follow:



In kindergarten, Leanna Cundiff's class was the fourth-place winner, Nikki Price's class finished third, Kimberly Clark's class was second and Lisa Wiseman's class was the overall winner.

Luci Shofner's class finished fourth in first grade. Miriah Cox's class was third, Amanda Greer's class was second and Amanda Barnett's class was the overall winner.

In second grade, Lynne Horn's class finished fourth, Tonya Hagan's class was third, Lisa Kearney's class was second and Tracey Rinehart's class was the overall winner.

In third grade, Marcia Sharp's class was fourth, Keri Richard's class was third, Hannah Jones's class was second and Patty Haley's class was the overall winner.

In fourth grade, Samantha Coomer's class finished fourth, Kaye Agathen's class was third, Maranda Wright's class finished second and Garnetta Murrell's class was the overall winner.

And in fifth grade, Ann-Michael Tucker's class was fourth, Tammy Hash's class was third, Donna White's class finished second and Jessica Lile's class was the overall winner.

Third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students participated in tug of war.

In the third-grade competition, Keri Richard's class was fourth, Hannah Jones's class was third, Patty Haley's class was second and Marcia Sharp's class was the winner.

For fourth grade, Kaye Agathen's class was fourth, Maranda Wright's class was third, Samantha Coomer's class was second and Garnetta Murrell's class was the winner.

In the fifth-grade competition, Ann-Michael Tucker's class was fourth, Jessica Lile's class was third, Donna White's class was second and Tammy Hash's class was the winner.

In class relays, Leanna Cundiff's class was the overall winner in kindergarten. Nikki Price's class was second, Lisa Wiseman's class was third and Kimberly Clark's class finished fourth.

Amanda Barnett's class was the overall winner in first grade. Miriah Cox's class was second, Luci Shofner's class was third and Luci Shofner's class was fourth.

In second grade, Tracey Rinehart's class was first, Lisa Kearney's class was second, Tonya Hagan's class was third and Lynne Horn's class came in fourth.

In third grade, Keri Richard's class was first, Patty Haley's class was second, Hannah Jones's class was third and Marcia Sharp's class finished fourth.

In fourth grade, Maranda Wright's class was first, Garnetta Murrell's class was second, Kaye Agathen's class was third and Samantha Coomer's class finished fourth.

And in fifth grade, Ann-Michael Tucker's class was first, Jessica Lile's class was second, Donna White's class was third and Tammy Hash's class finished fourth.

In the 50-yard dash, all classes competed to find their top three male and female runners. Those winners then ran in a final race and overall winners were named.
