Elsie Mason Lee Davis, 70, Casey Co., KY (1947-2018)


She dedicated her life to caring for others after serving 20+ years as a Registered Nurse. She was of the Christian faith. She was the daughter of Ruth Carter Mason, who survives and the late Chester Mason. She was preceded in death by previous husband Joseph Lee, and husband Donald Gregory Davis. She leaves seven direct living descendants.

Elsie Mason Lee Davis, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the Dayton Hospice House. She was 70.

The funeral service will be held at 10amCT/11amET, Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET, on Monday, June 25, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Elsie Mason Lee Davis, 70, Casey Co., KY (1947-2018)


Born on August 11, 1947, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, she was a daughter of Ruth Carter Mason, who survives, and the late Chester Mason. She died Thursday, June 21, 2018, in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, at the age of 70 years, 10 months, and 10 days.

Elsie dedicated her life to caring for others after serving 20+ years as a Registered Nurse. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by:
  • Two daughters: Janett (Ronnie) Edwards of Lawrenceburg, KY; and Devonda Righter of Union, KY

  • A son: Richard (Dawn) Lee of Dayton, Ohio

  • Four grandchildren: Alison Lee, Melissa Lee, Timmy Lee and Austin Righter

  • Four sisters: Sharon Close of Campbellsville, KY; and Lois Jean Eads, Angela Mason and Karen Mason, all of Liberty, KY

  • And a brother: Ron Mason of Erlanger, KY
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gregory Davis, who passed away on September 21, 2003; her previous husband, Joseph Lee; a sister, Shirley Wagner; and two brothers, Jack Mason and Paul Mason.
