Fern Baldock Thomas, 88, Casey Co., KY (1929-2018) August 1, 1929 - June 21, 2018 (Age 88) She was a retired Casey County, KY school at Dunnville and at Phelps School, who originally taught in one room schoolhouses. She obtained her degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She was also a farmer and homemaker. She enjoyed genealogy and ceramic work. Fern was a member of Thomas Ridge Christian Church. She was the daughter of the late Wallace and Lillie C. Rubart Drake and the widow, first of Hollis E. Baldock, and later, Delmas Thomas. He leaves five direct living descendants. The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, June 24, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Road, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
