Ronald Clyde Augustine, 73, Taylor Co., KY (1946-2018)

Ronald was a marine biologist. He also had a doctorate in Theology. Ronald was a Vietnam Army veteran who also served in the Desert Storm. He will be accorded military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard at committal rites. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Liberty. He was a native of Spokane, WA, and a resident of Campbellsville, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Ronald Augustine & Francis Cook. His wife, Lucy Augustine, survives. He leaves one direct living descendant, a daughter, Maria Augustine. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Cemetery in Clementsville, KY.

Ronald Clyde Augustine, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at his residence. He was 73.

A funeral mass will be held at 10amCT/11amET, on Monday, June 11, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 21 S Wallace Wilkinson Boulevard, Liberty, KY, with Father George Otuma officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, beside St. Bernard Church, 5075 S KY 551, Liberty, in the Clementsville Community of Casey County, KY. with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard.

He was born Friday, March 15, 1946, in Spokane, Spokane County, WA. He was a son of the late Ronald Augustine & Francis Cook. He died Sunday, June 10, 2018, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 73 years, two months, and 26 days.

Ronald was a marine biologist. He also had a doctorate in Theology. Ronald was a Vietnam Army veteran that also served in the Desert Storm. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He is survived by:
  • His wife: Lucy Augustine, Campbellsville, KY

  • A daughter: Maria Augustine of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters: Nancy Cook Bank and Annabelle Cook

  • And a brother: Frankie Cook
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 11, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Otuma officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard.
