Barbara Kay Daniels Pitcock, 66, Burkesville, KY (1951-2018)

She was a native of Marion County, IN, and a resident of Cumberland County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth & Nancy House Daniels. Her husband, Deion Pitcock, survives. She leaves four direct living descendants. She had worked at Osh B'Gosh plant and was of the Pentecostal faith. Her final resting place will be in Summer Shade, Metcalfe County, KY.

Barbara Kaye Daniels Pitcock, age 66, of Burkesville, KY, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at T J Samson Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1pmCT, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with Brother Todd Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be 3pm-8pmCT, Friday, June 8, 2018, after 8amCT, on Saturday until time of services at 1pmCT.



Barbara Kay Daniels Pitcock, 66, Burkesville, KY (1951-2018)


She was born August 11, 1951 in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN. She was a daughter of the late Kenneth & Nancy House Daniels. She died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 66 years, nine months, and 26 days.

Her husband, Deion Pitcock, survives.

She had worked at Osh B'Gosh plant and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include:
  • Two sons: Rocky and Joe David Pitcock, both of Dubre, KY

  • Sisters: Fay Pitcock and Kim Daniels both of Burkesville, KY and Shirley of IN

  • One half brother: Bugs Crawley, Tompkinsville, KY

  • And two grandchildren: Lane Pitcock and Allie Jo Pitcock.

    She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by one sister, Sandy Hogan.
