Green County project to improve KY 61/KY 487 intersection

Pikeview Road at KY 61 in Gresham Community, near Crossroads Grocery, approximately 5.7 miles south of the Old Courthouse in Greensburg, KY and 13.4 miles North of Downtown Columbia, KY according to Google maps, will be blocked for duration of project, expected to be completed this summer

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (Mon 4 Jun 2018) - Work in Green County is set to begin Monday June 11, 2018, for improvements along KY 61 at KY 487 between Columbia and Greensburg.



A contract to realign the intersection and reduce a vertical curve is awarded to Hicon Construction, LLC in the amount of $766,323 and will require temporary traffic signals on the KY 487 approach and each direction on KY 61.

Pikeview Road will be blocked at KY 61 for the duration of the project. Message boards and other signage are installed to alert motorists of these upcoming changes. Work is scheduled for completion this summer.
