Fit v. Freightliner fatal collision on WKY Parkway KSP continues investigation of fatality crash which took the life of 57-year-old Bardstown, KY driver of 2008 Honda eastbound vehicle, who, for unknown reasons, crossed median of parkway into oncoming westbound traffic. By Trooper Scotty R. Sharp, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (31 May 2018) -Kentucky State Police Post 04 Troopers responded to a two vehicle collision in Hardin Co. Wednesday afternoon. On May 30, 2018 at approximately 2:23pmET, KSP received a call of a two vehicle accident on the Western Kentucky Parkway (WKP) at the 122 mile marker in Hardin County. Jodi Jenkins (57) of Bardstown, KY, was traveling East on WKP in a 2008 Honda Fit. Jordan Campbell (24) of White Hall, AR, was traveling West on WKP in a 2015 Freightliner. For unknown reasons, Jenkins crossed the median of the parkway into the westbound lanes and struck the vehicle operated by Campbell. Jenkins was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hardin Co. Coroner's Office and Campbell refused medical treatment. Portions of the westbound lanes of the Western Kentucky Parkway remained open while KSP Troopers reconstructed the accident.
