Lewis Ray Davis, Sr., 70, Adair Co, KY (1947-2018)

He was was a retired machinist. He was a native of Winamac, IN, and a resident of Columbia, KY, at the time of his death in Somerset, KY. He was the son of the late John & Hazel Collins Davis. He leaves 19 direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in the Davis Memorial Cemetery on Little Cake Road, in Adair County, KY.

Lewis Ray Davis, Sr., age 70, of Columbia, KY, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Graveside service for Lewis Ray Davis, Sr. will be at 2pmCT, Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Davis Memorial Cemetery, Little Cake Road, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ronnie Rhodes officiating.



Lewis Ray Davis, Sr., 70, Columbia, KY (1947-2018)

He was born August 23, 1947 in Winamac, IN. He was the son of the late John & Hazel Collins Davis. He died Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 70 years, eight months, and 29 days.

Lewis was a retired machinist.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Ray Davis, Jr.; three brothers and two sisters. Survivors are:
  • Three daughters: Shelley Davis, Columbia, KY; Wendy (Emil) Dafcik, IN; and Stephanie (Jim) Luzadder, of Indiana

  • Fifteen grandchildren

  • One great grandchild

  • Five sisters: Clara Ann, Oralee, Lula Mae, Dallie. and Linda

  • One brother: Mavin Davis
