Query: Anyone remember Inis McKinney winning baby contest The year was 1947 or 1948, writer thinks Janis Tucker writes: My mom, Inis McKinney, was in a baby contest at the fair and won a blue ribbon. We were hoping that it may have been in one of the newspaper. And I thought you may have some information about it. It would have been in 1947-1948 and her name is Inis McKinney . Thank you or one of your readers for your time and help. - Janice Janice TuckerThanks, Janis - Rounding up the usual suspects, it's likely that the newspaper in 1947-1948 would have been the Adair County News.. One would assume the fair would have been the Adair County Fair in Columbia. If different please let us know. We hope one of our readers will know the answer. - EW This story was posted on 2018-05-16 01:33:02
