Traffic Advisory- Lane closures WKY Parkway in Hardin Co. KY

Short delays expected, especially during peak travel hours

By Chris Jessie, Public Information Officer
KYTC District 4, Elizabethtown, KY

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (Mon 7 May 2018) Daytime lane closures begin today (Monday) on the Western Kentucky Parkway Rehabilitation project. Motorists will be moved the inside (left) lane as work takes place in the outside (right) lane in each direction between Rhudes Creek Bridge (Mile Point 130.7) and US 31W Bypass (Mile Point 135.8). This closure will remain in place for approximately two months.

Short delays are possible, especially during peak travel hours.

Motorists should be aware of work zone signage, minimize distractions and be prepared for slowly moving and/or stopped traffic.

After work is complete on outside lanes, the traffic pattern will be switched with closure of inside lanes in each direction. An additional advisory will be sent when the schedule is available.
