Alonzo Isaacs, 84, formerly from Russell County, KY (1934-2018)

He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a member of Square Oak Separate Baptist Church at Ono, Russell County, KY. He was born February 12, 1934 in McKee, Jackson County, KY. He was the son of the late Carl and Virgie Sparks Isaacs. His wife, Gladna Isaacs survives.

Alonzo Isaacs, 84, of Owenton, KY, formerly of Russell County, KY, died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Gallatin Nursing and Rehab in Owenton, Ky.

Funeral service for Alonzo Isaacs will be 2pmCT Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Bobby Conner and Bro. Billy Silverman officiating and music by Square Oak Singers. Visitation will be after 12noonCT Wednesday. Interment will be in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.

He was born February 12, 1934 in McKee, Jackson County, KY. He was the son of the late Carl & Virgie Sparks Isaacs. He died Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the age of 84 years, two monthsm and nine days.

He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a member of Square Oak Separate Baptist Church. He died Saturday, April 21, 2018.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael David Isaacs.

Survivors are:
  • His wife: Gladna Isaacs, Owenton, KY

  • One daughter: Karen Sue (Bruce) Wash, Owenton, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Andrea Layne (Jared) Fitzgerald, Michael (Samantha) Wash, Isaac Wash

  • Two sisters: Loretta (Kirby) Smith, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Carolyn (John) York, TN
