John Riley White, 76, of Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY

Memorial service will be 3pmCT Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Scott Russell officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT Saturday.



John Riley White, 76, Russell County, KY (1941-2018)

He was born November 17, 1941 in Lewisburg, Logan County, KY. He was a son of Thomas and Jessie Taylor White. He died Wednesday, April 18, 2018, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 76 years, five months, and one day.

John was a truck driver and a member of Jamestown First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Taylor White; 2 sisters, Delphine Lyons, Edith Christian; 2 brothers, Lewis White, Kenneth White.

Survivors are:
  • Daughter: Tonya (Randall) Meece, Jamestown, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Brittany (Luke) Stephens, Johnathon Meece

  • One great grandchild: Adri Mae Stephens

  • One sister: Jess (Boyd) Hammond, Russellville, KY

  • One brother: Henry White, Lewisburg, KY

The family requests memorials to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Jamestown First Baptist Church. These can be made at the funeral home.
