Robert Patterson of Middleburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services are 12noonCT/1pmET Friday, April 20, 2018 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Cremation rites will follow the service. Visitation will be held 10am-noonCT/11am-1pmET Friday at the funeral home.



Robert Patterson, 73, Casey County, KY (1944-2018)

Born August 23, 1944 in Casey County, Kentucky, he was the son of John H. and Lorine Rayborn Patterson. He was 73 years of age at his passing.

Robert loved fishing and was well-liked by everyone.

Survivors include:
  • His beloved wife, Ivadean Singleton Patterson, of Middleburg;

  • Two sons, Ray Patterson, and Robert (Jessica) Patterson, Jr., both of Middleburg;

  • Three daughters, Diana (Raymond) Poff of Middleburg, Lisa (Keith) Taylor of Stanford, and Connie Patterson of Liberty;

  • Five brothers, Arnold (Wanda) Patterson of Knifley, James (Phyllis) Patterson of Hustonville, Thomas (Linda) Patterson of Middleburg, John Glen (Lora) Patterson of Middleburg, and Marsh (Mary Elliot) Patterson of Liberty;

  • Two sisters, Brenda Smith of Middleburg and Bertheda (Billy) Berry of Hustonville;

  • Sixteen grandchildren;

  • Nineteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Patterson and Linda Patterson; two sisters, Elizabeth Patterson, and Barbara Lou Patterson; and three brothers, Richard Patterson, Carlos Patterson, and an infant brother.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
