Homer Langdon, 70, Casey County, KY (1947-2018)

Homer was a Vietnam veteran and was awarded a Silver Star. He was also an avid fisherman. He was retired from National Starch and Chemical Company. His wife, Sally J. Lucas Langdon, survives.

Homer Langdon of Hustonville, KY passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at his residence. He was 70.

The funeral service will be held at 12pmCT/1pmET on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Indian Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Dwayne Orange officiating. Burial will follow in K.P. Hall Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 6-9pmET on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Homer Langdon, 70, Casey County, KY (1947-2018)

Born on June 19, 1947, in Confluence, Leslie County, KY, he was a son of the late Potter Langdon and Laura Smith Robinson. He died Sunday, March 18, 2018 in Hustonville, KY, at the age of 70 years, eight months, and 27 days.

He was retired from National Starch and Chemical Company. Homer was a Vietnam veteran and was awarded a Silver Star. He was also an avid fisherman.

Homer is survived by
  • His loving wife: Sally J. Lucas Langdon

  • Two sons: Mark Langdon of Frankfort and Darren (Catherine) Langdon of Indianapolis, IN

  • Two grandsons: Wyatt and Dustin;

  • His sister: Mary (Ron) Kidd of London.
In addition to his parents, Homer is preceded in death by four brothers, Guston Langdon, Jasper Langdon, Ledford (Anna) Langdon and Dorris Langdon. Send condolences to the family of Homer Langdon
