ACHS United Nations delegation among top at State Delegation of Excellence won. Team only 1 of 8 statewide to receive "Resolution Endorsed Award. Jaiden Taylor receives Outstanding Ambassador Award. Team members are eam members are Jaiden Taylor, Lindsey Taylor, Emilee Flatt, Billy Salmon, Aaron Peck, Kelsey Wiley, Hannah Brown, Jeanene Pike, Walter Baker, and Walker Karnes. Click on headline for story with group photo By Candice Flatt The students are from Mrs. Candice Flatt's Kentucky United Nations Assembly or KUNA team competed in a 3-day competition at Louisville, KY. The competition is a mock United Nations Assembly. They debated a resolution created by them, and won one of the top honors for their resolution and debate. Out of 50 resolutions that were passed at the assembly, only eight get the title of Resolution Endorsed by the Secretary General. Our team was one of the eight to receive the award. They also received an award for Delegation of Excellence, and the Outstanding Ambassador award went to Jaiden Taylor. Team members are Jaiden Taylor, Lindsey Taylor, Emilee Flatt, Billy Salmon, Aaron Peck, Kelsey Wiley, Hannah Brown, Jeanene Pike, Walter Baker, and Walker Karnes.
