He retired from Nelson County School System and was a former sign painter. He was a member of an outstanding Adair County, KY family. He was the son of the late Jack & Georgia Murray Scott. His wife of 62 years, Juanita McKinney Scott, survives. He leaves 21 direct living descendants to carry on his legacy.
