The funeral service will be at 12pmCT/1pmET, Friday, February 23, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Pastor Ron Pitosi. Burial will follow in New Market Cemetery. Visitation will be 9am-12pmNoonCT/10am-1pmET, on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

T. J. Mays of Nicholasville, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, son of Todd Mays & Elizabeth "Libby" Wright, was born April 10, 1990, in Taylor County, KY. He died at 8:51amET, Friday, February 19, 2018 in Nicholasville, Jessamine County, KY. He was 27 years, 10 months, and nine days of age.

T. J. was employed as a contractor.

He is survived by:
  • His significant other: Jennifer Newland of Nicholasville, KY

  • His mother: Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Wright and step-father, Terrance Pope of Nicholasville, KY

  • His father: Todd Mays and wife, Melinda of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six children: Cameron, Landon, Maci, Jaxson, Kinsley and Leo

  • One sister and two brothers: Brittany Mays of Nicholasville, KY; Jarred Mays and Brooklyn Mays of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four step-siblings: Michael Bray and Bethany Bray of Campbellsville, KY; Patrick Holmes of Lexington, KY; and Christopher Bunch of Russell Springs, KY

  • Grandfathers: Bill Wright of Costa Rica and Jimmie Cable of Campbellsville, KY

  • Great-grandmothers: Bobbie Sue Wright and Terry Poore of Campbellsville, KY

  • And several nieces and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bernice Mays and Ray Mays and his maternal grandmother, Linda Cable.
