Archie E. Brown of Campbellsville departed this life on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his home after a sudden illness.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Brown on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 12pmCT/1pmET in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 14, from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET.



Archie E. Brown, 71, Taylor County, KY (1946-2018)

He was born on October 22, 1946. He was the son of the late Jolie and Angie Eythel Stanton Brown. He died Monday, February 12, 2018, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 71 years, three months, and 21 days of age.

Mr. Brown professed faith in Christ and attended the Beulahland Community Church. He was a retired truck driver and the husband of Bea Corbin Brown, who survives.

He leaves to cherish his memory:
  • His wife: Bea Brown,

  • One son: Kyle Brown,

  • Three daughters: Charman Barnes, Dana Parsons, and Tammy Willis and husband Mike,

  • Two step-sons: Dwayne Tomes and Michael Tomes,

  • Two sisters: Peggy Bryant and Lola Sallee and husband Arnold,

  • Four grandchildren: Shelbi Barnes, Chase McDaniel, Jaden Willis, and Tanner Willis,

  • And a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by seven siblings, Augusta Walters, Charles Brown, Lewis Brown, Elmer Brown, Dorothy Rash, Bernice Brown, and Danny Brown.
