Harold Handy, 86, Green County, KY (d. Wed 24 Jan 2018) He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was affiliated with the Methodist Church. He was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a farmer, worked at General Electric, a welder on Jeff Boat and he and his brother were in business in Louisville. He raised and showed horses. He also loved collecting antiques. He was a member of a prominent Green County, KY family. He was the son of the late Sally Edna Hayes Handy & Herbert Lewis Handy. His wife of 50 years, Marlene Weickel Handy, survives. The funeral service for Harold Handy will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, with Rev. Dale Curry the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Greensburg Cemetery with full military honors. Horse drawn carriage will be led by Rock 'n B Farm, Bowling Green, KY. Pallbearers will be Rhen Handy, Shayne Handy II, Glenn Landis, Nicholas Riggle, William Spradlin, and Greg Handy. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Gibbs and Michael Maccaferri. He was a farmer, worked at General Electric, a welder on Jeff Boat and he and his brother were in business in Louisville. He raised and showed horses. He also loved collecting antiques. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son: Shawn Handy, two sisters and two brothers: Opal and Virginia Tutt, Ed and Homer Handy. He is survived by his wife of fifty years: Marlene Weickel Handy, and the following:
