Donald Travis Owens, 73, Adair & Jefferson Co./Clinton native (1944-2018) Don was a graduate of Adair County High School and Western KY University. He loved sports and was particularly accomplished at basketball and golf. He worked as a school counselor in IN, OH, and KY. He was the son of the late J.B. and Mabel Owens. His wife, Joan Gerstle, survives. His direct and step- living descendants include a son, Trent Owens Aaron; a step daughter, Kim Maugans, and four grandchildren. He was a brother of Mike Owens, Columbia, KY; Ron Owens, Bradfordsville, KY, and Margaret Owens Harrison, Chillicothe, Ohio.
