Mr. Joseph (Joe) R. Clark, Evansville, IN/Green Co., KY native (1950-2018)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a graduate of Iroquois High School where he played football. He was also a graduate of University of Louisville. Joe loved his many years of work at GE in Louisville and then with Kenco Logistics as Director of Operations for many of the Whirlpool locations, not only Evansville, but across the country. In his earlier years he loved riding his Harley across the country, flying his private plane, and raising and training horses. Most of all Joe loved his family. His final resting place will be in the Davenport Cemetery in his native Green County, KY.

Mr. Joseph "Joe" R. Clark, 67, of Evansville, IN, departed this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his home in Indiana.

The funeral services for Mr. Joseph "Joe" R. Clark will be conducted at 7pmCT, on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN Rev. Rollin Simpson officiating. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Wednesday at the Browning Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.

Second funeral service for Mr. Clark will be held at 11amCT, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Davenport Cemetery in Green County, KY. Visitation is requested after 9amCT, Saturday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.

Mr. Joseph "Joe" R. Clark of Evansville, IN, son of David Clark & Ollye Davenport Clark, both of Louisville, KY, was born on Friday, January 27, 1950 in Green County, KY. He died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his home in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, IN. He was 67 years, 11 months, and 13 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a graduate of Iroquois High School where he played football. He was also a graduate of University of Louisville. Joe loved his many years of work at GE in Louisville and then with Kenco Logistics as Director of Operations for many of the Whirlpool locations, not only Evansville, but across the country. In his earlier years he loved riding his Harley across the country, flying his private plane, and raising and training horses. Most of all Joe loved his family.

Besides his parents Mr. Clark is survived by:
  • A son: Skyler Clark of IN

  • Sisters: Erica Clark Coyle and Patti Clark, both of Louisville, KY

  • Soul mate: Mary Simpson Cooper of Indiana, and her daughters, Emily Cooper of Alaska and Ashley Cooper of Hawaii

  • Two special young people: Justin Kellerman and Mallory Kellerman

  • Aunt, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Lewis and Francis Williams; maternal grandparents: Leora and Horton Davenport; and his beloved great-aunt and great-uncle: Lewis and Vada Moran.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Honor Flight, P.O. Box 991364, Louisville, KY 40269, American Diabetes Association, or ABATE of Indiana, P.O. Box 665, Bargersville, IN 46106, which can be made at the funeral home.
