Charles Marshburn says it doesn't get cold in Columbia Remembers winter of 1968, in Montana By Charles Marshburn Current snowbirding in balmy Gadberry, Adair County, KY Woke up to -43 degrees in Great Falls, MT. Before I could go to work at the air base I had to put my car battery in the car. One had to bring it in every night to keep it from freezing and cracking. I had to unplug my oil heater (?) and heat the door handle with a butane lighter. It doesn't get cold in Columbia! This story was posted on 2018-01-14 08:14:30
