Garden Club says it's time to get together and plan for spring

By Donna Jones, president, Adair County Garden Club

It's time to think about gardening! Although spring is a few weeks away the garden club is busy planning for 2018.

The Adair County Garden Club will kick off with their first meeting on January 25, 2018 at 1pmCT at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street Columbia, KY.

This meeting is important as we discuss our plans for 2018, topics for our classes, trips we may want to take as well as were we need to focus our attention in our beautiful community. If you are interested in gardening, getting out in the community, meeting new people and having lots of fun along the way then you need to join us.

The Adair County Garden Club meets the 4th Thursday of each month at various locations. Our meetings are designed to expand your knowledge of gardening, landscape, birds as well as many other related horticulture topics. A nominal membership fee is required to join. The Adair County Garden Club takes pride in our community so we invite you to expand your horizons with us in 2018.

Any questions about The Adair County Garden Club or meeting please contact club president Donna Jones at 270-634-2125.
