Nell's Variety 5/10 brings back memories for kid at heart About: Mike Watson: Favorite Old Photo - Nell's Variety Store AND JIM - Christmas Wish List, 14 Dec 1964 - Nells Variety Store Click on headline for complete story By Tim Baker Picture of Nell's variety store brings back my childhood of when I went to town as a young child. This was my version of Walmart in the early 70's! Not a time goes by that when I see candy corn I think of those nickel bags of fresh candy while I looked at all the toy farm equipment and tractors I always put on my wish list. Still love looking at the tractors and farm equipment today - on a bigger scale. My wife says I'm still a kid at heart! Lol Thanks for the memories. - Tim L.
