Mildred Dean (Billie) Clark Bagby, Green Co., KY (1930-2017)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She was a native of Green County, KY, and her final resting place will be at Greasy Creek Cemetery, Exie, Green County, KY. She was a member of a respected Green County, KY, family, the daughter of the late Carlos Beckham & Zelpha Whitlock Clark, and the widow of Rupert Ray Bagby. She leaves five direct and five step living descendants.

Mrs. Mildred Dean (Billie) Clark Bagby, 87, departed this life Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Avamere Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Colorado.

The funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Friday, December 15, 2017, and after 7amCT, Saturday, at the funeral home. Rev. Julie Labato will officiate. Burial will be in Greasy Creek Cemetery in the Exie Community of Green County, KY.

Mrs. Mildred Dean (Billie) Clark Bagby was born October 6, 1930 in Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Carlos Beckham & Zelpha Whitlock Clark. She died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Avamere Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Colorado, having attained the age of 87, two months and four days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Ray Bagby, April 16, 2008; two sisters: LeVert McCrary and Alberta Sargent; sisters-in-law: Florence Clark, Lassie Schmidt, Dimple Mosz and Maple Bagby; and brothers-in-law: Ellis, James, Vernon, and J.R. Bagby

She is survived by:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Lana & Harold Smith of Denver, Colorado

  • One brother: Carlos Clark of Bardstown, KY

  • One sister and her husband: Eleanor & Douglas Sidebottom of Greensburg, KY

  • Two brothers-in-law: Bob McCrary of Greensburg, KY' and Eugene Mosz of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three sisters-in-law: Shirley and Elva Jo Bagby of Greensburg, KY; and Clydene Bagby of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Rev. Julie Labato and her husband Tony and Kristin Golden and her husband Bill all of Colorado

  • Two great grandchildren: Michael and Morgan Golden of Colorado

  • Two step grandchildren: Jennifer Matthews and her husband Jeff; and Amy Loveday and her husband Scott, all of Ohio

  • Three step great grandchildren: Alex and Zachary Hankins and Mariah Loveday, all of Ohio

  • Plus a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
