Sarah (Sally) Haggard, Casey County, KY (1949-2017)

She was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a resident of Liberty, KY at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the Elizabeth Shurte Moore & the late Edmund Moore. Her husband of 36 years, Ron Haggard survives. She leaves 13 direct living descendants. Sarah was a loving mother and grandmother.

Sarah "Sally" Haggard, 67, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Casey County Hospital, Liberty.

The funeral service will be held at 12pmCT/1pmET, on Monday, December 11, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Rev. Marty Shackleford officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10am-12pmCT/11am-10pmET, Monday, December 11, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Sarah "Sally" Haggard, Casey County, KY (1949-2017)

Born on December 22, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of Elizabeth Shurte Moore and the late Edmund Moore. She died Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 67 years, 11 months, 14 days.

Sarah was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Haggard, whom she wed on April 25, 1981, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Amanda McHugh of Reading, Ohio; and Sarah Haggard of Fairfield Township, Ohio

  • A son: Joseph (Susan) Haggard of Harrison, Ohio

  • Her mother: Elizabeth Shurte Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio

  • Four brothers: Steve (Debbie) Moore of Nashville, TN; Phillip Moore of Reading, Ohio; Andrew (Jeanne) Moore of Milford, Ohio; and David (Cindy) Moore of Reading, Ohio

  • Ten grandchildren: Brittaney, Megan, Eli, Abby, Collin, Brayden, Sam, Brennen, Kai, and Lillian.
In addition to her father, she wass preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Moore.
