Larry James Pendleton, 67, Casey County, KY (1950-2017)

Larry was a self-employed gate hauler for many years. He was of the Christian faith. Larry enjoyed Nascar, University of KY sports, and the Cincinnati Reds. He was a member of a very large, respected family, one of eleven children of the late Glen & Marie Lee Pendleton. With his death, six siblings survive. He leaves three direct living descendants.

Larry James Pendleton, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Liberty Care Center. He was 67 years young.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET, on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Brother Casey Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Austin Cemetery. The family will friends 9am-1pmCT/10am-2pmET, Sunday, December 3, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Pallbearers will be Robert Lynn, Allen Pendleton, Phillip Pendleton, Eddie Russell, Peggy Hatfield, Kel Robertson, Danny Garland, and Chris Pendleton.

Larry James Pendleton, 67, Casey County, KY (1950-2017)

Born on February 4, 1950, in Casey County, KY. He was a son of the late Glen & Marie Lee Pendleton. He died Friday, December 1, 2017, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 67 years, nine months, and 28 days.

Larry was a self-employed gate hauler for many years. He was of the Christian faith. Larry enjoyed Nascar, University of KY sports, and the Cincinnati Reds.

He is survived by:
  • A daughter: Megan Pendleton of Jamestown, KY

  • Two sons: Christopher Pendleton of Liberty, KY; and Jonathan Pendleton of Henry County, KY

  • One sister: Rosemary (Billy) Russell of Paris, TN

  • Five brothers: Jackie Pendleton of Liberty, KY; Roger (Cathy) Pendleton of Dunnville, KY; Earl Pendleton of Mannsville, KY; William (Denise) Pendleton of Campbellsville, KY; and Danny Pendleton of Yosemite, KY

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters, Janis, Ada, Patricia, and Sherry Pendleton; and two brothers, Gene and David Pendleton.
