Eugene (Gene) Fair, 76, Casey County, KY (1941-2017)

He was a graduate of Liberty High School and Campbellsville College. He was also a US Navy Veteran. Eugene worked for various companies throughout his life that included, Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company and Snap On Tools. Later, he began his own computer manufacturing company, Fast Forward. Eugene was an avid NASCAR fan and a friend of Tony Stewart. He was a member of a respected Casey County, KY, family, the son of the late Virgil & Christeen Brown Fair. He leaves two direct living descendants.

Eugene "Gene" Fair, 76, of Meadows Park, TX, formerly of Casey County, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Hampton Assisted Living Facility in Meadows Park. He was 76 years of age.

Memorial services are 1pmCT/2pmET Saturday, December 9, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Brother Donald Nall officiating. A private burial will take place in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9am-1pmCT/10am-20mCT, Saturday at the funeral home.



Eugene "Gene" Fair, 76, Casey County, KY

Born September 24, 1941 in Casey County, KY. He was a son of the late Virgil & Christeen Brown Fair. He died Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in Meadows Park, TX, a tthe age of 76 years, one month, and 21 days.

Eugene was a graduate of Liberty High School and Campbellsville College. He was also a US Navy Veteran. Eugene worked for various companies throughout his life that included, Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company and Snap On Tools. Later, he began his own computer manufacturing company, Fast Forward. Eugene was an avid NASCAR fan and a friend of Tony Stewart.

Survivors include:
  • One son: David (Julia) Fair of Richmond, TX

  • One grandson, Chase Fair of Richmond, TX

  • His former wife: Linda Greer of Bardstown, KY

  • One brother: Roger Fair of Fairfield, OH

  • One brother in law: Ron Wilson of Waynesville, OH
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Carol Sue Wilson.
